“It has been over six decades now that innocent Kashmiri masses are struggling for their inalienable right to self-determination. In the process, thousands of victims have embraced Shahadat (martyrdom), fueling their resilience and struggle for freedom with their blood. There is not a single house in Indian-occupied Kashmir which is not affected by the suppressive and atrocious policies of India’s occupation army. An increasingly large number of male members of families have ‘disappeared’ by force or killed in custody, whereas the women have been subjected to rape, molestation and utter humiliation. Instead of giving Right of Self-Determination to the people of Kashmir as characterized in United Nations Security Council resolutions, and in accordance with New Delhi’s own formal commitment to United Nations, India continues its oppressive policies to strengthen its hold on the territory. It is greatly unfortunate that the world community is unmoved on this account and is ignoring the reign of terror unleashed by Indian occupation army against a majority of Kashmiris who chose to resist foreign rule.
Our Kashmiri brethren are not alone in their struggle for freedom. We Pakistanis stand with them in their hour of need and distress as every Pakistani individual considers Kashmir to be part of his national identity. YFK–International Kashmir Lobbying Group is here to enlighten the suppressed Kashmiri masses to this fact that Pakistan will continue to extend its unflinching support to them under all circumstances. This youth organization also serves as a beacon of light for them that the day is not far off when they will achieve their objective and all their rosy dreams will come true.”
