Seminar On Medical Emergency In Kashmir &
Protest Against Arrival Of RajNath Singh

ISLAMABAD—International Lobbying Group Youth Forum For Kashmir (YFK) organized a seminar in Islamabad “Medical Emergency In Kashmir” to highlight the use of pellets on innocent Kashmiris by Indian occupation forces.

Senator PTI Shibli Faraz criticized the Govt. of Pakistan for not having a clear Kashmir policy. He insisted the Govt. of Pakistan should revisit its policies towards Kashmir.

Member Young Doctors Association (YDA) Islamabad Dr. Umair Dar gave a presentation on harms of using so called non-lethal weapon pellet guns. He has a clear picture of suffering of the patients in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

Information Secretary YDA Dr. Saad Cheema appealed Indian govt. to let their team visit Kashmir for treatment of wounded Kashmiris. He asked Govt. of Pakistan to facilitate the seriously injured Kashmiris to be treated in Pakistan.

Chairman Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF) Hafiz Abdul Rauf appealed the United Nations to let them work in Kashmir on humanitarian grounds. He said that by welcoming RajNath Singh, Govt. of Pakistan has added the salt to the wounds of Kashmiris.

Jan Achakzai, Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur and others were also included in the speakers. Ahmed Quraishi conducted the seminar.

After the seminar a peaceful protest was held from the venue to the Serena Chowk against the arrival of Indian interior minister RajNath Singh. The protesters holding Burhan Wani pictures, banners and placards raised slogans against RajNath Singh and India.

Youth Forum For Kashmir (YFK) is Pakistan’s first pro-Kashmir, registered and nonpartisan International lobbying group led by young Kashmiris and Pakistanis working to ensure justice to Kashmiris living under Indian-military occupation.
