Islamabad, August 5th: The Youth Forum for Kashmir (YFK) in collaboration with Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), organized a seminar and award distribution ceremony of article writing competition in accordance with Youm-e-Istehsal. The seminar featured an expert panel with Dr Shazia Sobia Somroo, MNA, PPP, Ambassador Syed Abrar Hussain, Senior diplomat, Farzana Yaqoob, Former minister AJK, Dr Noor Fatima, HOD IIUI, Saleem Bismil, IIOJK-born Former Secretary AJ&K, Khalid Rehman, Chairman IPS and Zaman Bajwa, Executive Director YFK.
The speakers highlighted the multi-faced dimension related to revocation of article 370 and 35-A. Future of conflicted zone and repercussion of abrogated articles for Kashmiri people was the core agenda. The seminar was attended by students, young scholars, academia and representatives of Think Tanks. At the end of the seminar cash prizes were distributed among winners of article writing competition, organized by YFK. This session served as a symbol of solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
