ISLAMABAD—YFK–International Kashmir Lobby Group (Youth Forum For Kashmir) holds a peaceful demonstration, joining Pakistanis & Kashmiris in marking the Kashmir Black Day on the extrajudicial killings in south Kashmir by the Indian army this week.
Keynote Speakers included Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam-Member National Assembly of Pakistan (PMLN) & Media Coordinator of Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF), Senator Mr. Faisal Javed Khan-Member Core Committee (PTI), Syed Faiz Naqshbandi-Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Mr. Ahmed Quraishi-Executive Director YFK–International Kashmir Lobby Group (Youth Forum For Kashmir), and others.
Speakers expressed that, India’s army is involved in extra-judicial killings, illegal detentions and the highest number of cases of rapes and sexual harassment in the world. New Delhi has a proven track record of avoiding the resolution of Kashmir in the hope of annexing the territory permanently. In seven decades, India has failed to achieve this objective. So, the only alternative for India is to enter into serious peace talks with Pakistan and Kashmiris to resolve Kashmir conflict in accordance with the UNSC resolutions.
A large number of participants showed up wearing White T-Shirts with the word ‘KASHMIR BLEEDS’ in red, in front of National Press Club Islamabad. Youth leaders, civil society representatives, journalists, and politicians were invited to speak. A team was recording short individual video messages for social media. Banners and dozens of handwritten were on display and participants were chanting slogans against Indian brutalities in Kashmir.
YFK–International Kashmir Lobby Group (Youth Forum For Kashmir) is a non-partisan, international non-governmental organization, working for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir Conflict in accordance with United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolutions.
