Shaista Safi, Young Kashmir Activist, Addresses A Seminar In Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—A seminar was held at the residency of Consular General in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which was attended by the Pakistani women community settled in Jeddah. A young Kashmiri activist from Baramulla, Ms. Shaista Safi represented Youth Forum For Kashmir there, YFK is Pakistan’s first youth led pro-Kashmir lobbying group.
While addressing the seminar Shaista Safi shared her personal experiences of forced exile from her land and told the audience what women and children of Indian-occupied Kashmir are facing since this conflict started and what Kashmiris are going through after the recent floods, the worst in a century.
Audience was keen to know how Kashmiris are living under occupation and raised many questions and gave comments to show their love and affection towards Kashmir and people of Kashmir.
Honorable wife of the Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and women from all walks of life participated in the event.
The YFK is a grassroots lobbying group led by young Kashmiris and Pakistanis working to ensure justice to Kashmiris living under Indian military occupation.
