ISLAMABAD—YFK–International Kashmir Lobby Group (Youth Forum For Kashmir) in collaboration with the Youth Parliament & Pak-Turk Schools organized a Cultural Event, titled “Hum Sab Ka Pakistan” at Pak-Turk Schools Chak Shahzad Islamabad to mark the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan and to highlight the unfinished agenda of partition: Kashmir Conflict, in front of the young generation of Pakistan. It included culture and story of different regions of Pakistan, where YFK was the representative of Kashmir. Story of culture and resistance was presented to promote the awareness among the masses. Tableau, Skits and Cultural Performances were also presented by youth.
Approximately 300 students from Crescent School, Pak-Turk School, and Student Cultural Councils were attended the program. Basic concept was not to promote any Sindhi, Punjabi, Pakhtun, Kashmiri and Baloch, but to show that it is “Hum Sab Ka Pakistan”.
The distinguished speakers included, Ms. Sehar Kamran | Senator PPP, Ms. Shaheen Kosar Dar | Former Deputy Speaker AJ&K Assembly, Brig. (R) Aslam Khan | President Gomal Foundation, Mr. Altaf Hussain Wani | Senior Hurriyat Leader, Ms. Shaista Safi | Lobbyist YFK, Mr. Zaman Bajwa | Lobbyist YFK and others.
YFK–International Kashmir Lobby Group (Youth Forum For Kashmir) is Pakistan’s first pro-Kashmir, registered and nonpartisan International lobbying group led by young Kashmiris and Pakistanis working to ensure justice to Kashmiris living under Indian-military occupation.
