Pakistan Day Seminar To Kashmir

ISLAMABAD—In context with the Pakistan Day celebrations, YFK – International Kashmir Lobby Group in collaboration with the Department of Governance & Public Policy, National University of Modern Languages marked the day by organizing a seminar, titled “Youm-e-Pakistan Shuhadaey Kashmir Kay Naam” at NUML University Islamabad.

Speakers included Brig. (R) Dr. Maqsood-ul-Hassan-Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, Maj. Gen. (R) Syed Usman Shah-HoD Governance & Public Policy Department, YFK Lobbyist Zaman Bajwa, Maria Khan and Kashmiri-born YFK Lobbyist Shaista Safi.

Speakers highlighted the affiliation Pakistan has with Kashmir and commitment of people of Kashmir with the ideology of Pakistan.

Maria Khan presented the case studies of youth of Kashmir who are being targeted by the Indian occupational forces whereas Shaista Safi encouraged the youth of Pakistan to study the Kashmir conflict and be the best advocates by raising their voices to create awareness among the youth.

Youth Forum For Kashmir (YFK) is Pakistan’s first pro-Kashmir, registered and nonpartisan International lobbying group led by young Kashmiris and Pakistanis working to ensure justice to Kashmiris living under Indian-military occupation.
