YFK–International Kashmir Lobbying Group requests you, along with the other journalistic community to raise the issue of unexpressed atrocities in Kashmir with us. Burhan-ud-Din Muzaffar Wani was a hero and freedom fighter for the Kashmiris who became a target of Indian forces’ unconstitutional actions in Indian occupied Kashmir in 8th July 2016.

Brutalities in Kashmir and violation of International Human Rights seem to be never-ending. The fate of Kashmiris still remains undecided even though Resolution 47 of the UN Security Council called for a plebiscite to determine the future of Kashmir. The world should realize the fact that peace in the region is linked with the peace and security situation in Kashmir.

The use of propaganda by mass media to persuade people’s beliefs and attitudes is a well-known fact. YFK–International Kashmir Lobbying Group is a strong believer of the role of mass media in narrative building. We actively use all the available forums for propagating voices of oppressed Kashmiris.

Therefore, we request your contribution for highlighting the stated issue at all possible forums. Join us in our cause as we highlight each case independently so that an end can be brought to the impunity in Kashmir and rule of law can be established. Consistent and active campaigning is needed to highlight the grave sensitivity of the issue. Thank you for looking into the matter. Your response is awaited.
